Based on the Order of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 527 dated December 5, 2025, "On certain issues of regulating the export of specific types of timber," a ban has been introduced on the export from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of certain types of timber (commodity nomenclature codes 4401, 4403, 4404, 4406, and 4407) for a period of six months, regardless of the country of origin.In particular, the export of goods classified under the EAEU HS codes 4406910000 ("Wooden sleepers made of coniferous species"), 4403100000 ("Wood materials for the manufacture of railway sleepers (coniferous and other)"), and 4404000000 ("Wood pellets"), the country of origin of which is the Republic of Kazakhstan, is prohibited.
