On May 26, 2023, the Order of the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 312 dated May 3, 2023 "On some issues of regulating the export of coal and lignite" came into force.
So, today there is a ban on the export of coal from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for a period of six months by road; briquettes, pellets and similar types of solid fuels obtained from coal: coal, pulverized or non-pulverized, but not agglomerated (code of the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the TN code FEA EAEU) 2701); lignite, or brown coal, agglomerated or non-agglomerated, except jet (HS Code EAEU 2702).
