On the Temporary Ban on the Export of Petroleum Products from the Republic of Kazakhstan
🔹 Legal basis:
Clause 2 of the Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 175-н/қ dated April 30, 2026.
🔹 Period of the ban:
From July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026 (6 months).
🔹 What is prohibited?
The export of the following petroleum products outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union is prohibited:
light distillates;
aviation kerosene;
diesel fuel;
gas oils;
toluene;
xylene;
petroleum bitumen.
🔹 Purpose of the ban:
To ensure national security, maintain the stability of the domestic market, and regulate trade activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
