State revenue bodies provide 42 public services, including 25 tax and 17 customs, 90% (38 services) of them have been converted to electronic format. This was announced by Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Birzhanov during a press conference at the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan.
These services can be obtained electronically through the Taxpayer's Office, e-government portal, E-licensing, mobile applications of state authorities and banks (eGov mobile, e-Salyq Azamat and Business, Kaspi, Halyk bank, Bank Centre Credit, Home Credit Bank and others).
An important achievement in the field of automation was the increase in the share of electronic services provided to 99%. For example, 99.7% of tax reports are submitted electronically (12.5 million forms).
Due to the transition of public services to an electronic format, labor resources have been optimized, paperwork has been reduced, time and financial costs of service recipients have been as well reduced, direct contacts have been minimized and, as a result, corruption risks have been reduced.
For further development of electronic services, work is under way to expand interaction with banks (Kaspi, Halyk bank, Bank Centre Credit 39 tax reporting forms) by digital platforms, introducing services (services) of state revenue bodies into their software interfaces
