On some issues of regulating the export of coal and lignite

The Department of State Revenue for the East Kazakhstan region reports that from October 26, 2023, by Order of the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 59 dated November 7, 2023 “On some issues of regulating the export of coal and lignite” a ban was introduced for a period of six months on export from the territory Republic of Kazakhstan by road transport hard coal; briquettes, pellets and similar types of solid fuels obtained from coal: coal, pulverized or non-pulverized, but not agglomerated (code of the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the EAEU HS code) 2701); lignite, or brown coal, agglomerated or non-agglomerated, except jet (EAES HS code 2702).
