The employee of the SRD of East - Kazakhstan region became the strongest chess player among the civil servants of EKR

On October 19, 2023, the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs of East - Kazakhstan region and the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of East - Kazakhstan region organized a chess competition among civil servants of the departments of the region, dedicated to the Day of the Republic in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The event was aimed at development and popularization of chess, enhancing sports skills and promoting a healthy lifestyle. More than 30 civil servants from all cities and districts of the region participated in the tournament – one participant from each organization. The game was in the form of a blitz, according to the rules of the International Chess Federation "Fide".

According to the results of the tournament, the chief specialist of the Department of Office of Advocacy and Contact Center of the Department, Evgeny Aleksandrovich Mishchenko took first place, showing high results!
