The Day of languages of people of Kazakhstan was celebrated in the SRD of EKR

On September 13, 2023, the State Revenue Department of  East - Kazakhstan region hosted a literary-scientific event dedicated to the Day of languages of people of Kazakhstan.

It is noteworthy that this holiday is celebrated on September 5 – the birthday of Akhmet Baitursynov, the great educator,  founder of the Kazakh alphabet and  Kazakh linguistics.

Acting Deputy Head of the Department Askhat Rainbekovich Zhibitaev, heads of specialized departments, professorial- teaching staff of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took part in the event.

Before the start of the event, the assembled guests acquainted with book exhibition, where scientific books, teaching and methodological manuals of the publicist A. Baitursynov were exhibited.

Acting deputy head A.R. Zhibitaev opened the literary-scientific event with a congratulatory speech by, where he noted that the main purpose of the event is to instill respect and love to the native language, and stressed the historical importance of the state language in uniting the people of the country.

The speakers were: candidates of philological sciences, associate professors of the EKU named after S. Amanzholov, Aigul Asetovna Alimkhan with a report on the topic: "Akhmet Baitursynov is the founder of linguistics ", Berdibek Nuraldauly Biyarov with a report: "Akhmet Baitursynov is the public figure".

After the speeches of the guests, the acting deputy head presented Certificates of Honor on behalf of the head of the SRD of EKR S.S. Bimagambetov to distinguished employees of the Department contributing to  enhancing the status of the national language, including the languages of the people of Kazakhstan.

That's the language policy plays a great role for peace and harmony on the territory of the republic. May the languages of our ethnic groups develop,  never be forgotten. and everyone can be proud of them.
