Vice Minister of Finance of RK Yerzhan Bizhanov held a meeting with the population of East -Kazakhstan region

Today, Vice Minister of Finance of the RK Yerzhan Bizhanov held a meeting with residents of East - Kazakhstan region.

The Head of the State Revenue Department of East - Kazakhstan region Sayat Bimagambetov gave a report at the meeting.

The focus was on budget implementation, bankruptcy of individuals, legalization of vehicles, application of a special tax regime of a retail tax, job creation, small and medium-sized business development, as well as improvement of budget, tax and customs legislation, etc.

As of May 1, 2023, the number of taxpayers of East - Kazakhstan region amounted to 782,946, including: legal entities – 15,877, individuals – 767,069

The economic stability of the region is determined by industry and industrial production is also the main export product of the region.

From March, 3rd of this year, the reception of citizens' applications for bankruptcy has begun, 1,339 applications have been received in the East - Kazakhstan region as of May 23, 2023, the procedure of out-of-court bankruptcy against 173 citizens was initiated. Information on these debtors is posted on the “e-government’’ web portal.

Since the process of legalization of foreign vehicles began in the country, about 2,522 vehicles have been legalized in East - Kazakhstan region.

In addition, E. Birzhanov informed the residents of the region of the drafting of a new Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Public Procurement", as well as of the project "National Fund for Children".

During the meeting, the Vice Minister answered questions by residents of EKR, took part in a press conference and held a personal reception of citizens.
