Attention air carriers: the procedure for filling in a customs declaration for a vehicle!

Currently, one of the important tasks of our country is the transition of the state to e-government, which ensures transparency of the services provided and solving combating corruption issue.

Consequently, digitalization governs the economic activities based on digital technologies used in all spheres, including foreign economic activity.

Earlier, the state revenue authorities have already notified through the official website of the  State Revenue Department of the East - Kazakhstan region that they are taking all measures to reduce administrative barriers, corruption risks, etc., for which they use technical resources to ensure the possibility of obtaining public services provided through the electronic portal of public services of the Government egov.kz, in particular, "Acceptance of the passenger customs declaration" and "Acceptance of a customs declaration for a vehicle".

The state service "Acceptance of a customs declaration for a vehicle" for air transport provides the possibility of independent filling in a customs declaration for a vehicle by air carriers, by which the vehicle declaration is used for customs declaration of vehicles of international transportation, and in cases provided for by the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan" - for customs declaration of supplies (supplies are goods necessary to ensure proper operation and maintenance of aircraft in their parking lots and on their route, as well as goods intended for consumption and (or) use by passengers and crew of aircraft).

The form of a customs declaration for a vehicle and instructions on the procedure for filling in a declaration for a vehicle were approved by the Decision of the Customs Union Commission No. 422 of October 14, 2010.

The instruction is developed in accordance with Articles 180 and 350 of the Customs Code of the Customs Union and defines the procedure for filling in a customs declaration for a vehicle in in written form:

Section II of the procedure for filling in a customs declaration for a vehicle clearly establishes the list of columns to be filled in by the declarant - a person who declares goods or on whose behalf goods are declared.

After customs control, the official fills in the list of the column of the customs declaration for a vehicle, established by section III of the procedure for filling in a customs declaration for a vehicle.
