The Code of Ethics of public servants of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the Code of Ethics) consists of 5 chapters: general provisions, ethical standards of public service, standards of official ethics of civil servants, coordination for preventing violations of official ethics, responsibility for violations of the norms of official ethics

The state service obliges to facilitate strengthening the unity of the people of Kazakhstan and interethnic harmony in the country, respect the state and other languages, traditions and customs of the people of Kazakhstan.
Civil servants in their activities should be committed to public policy and to put it successively into practice, strive to preserve and strengthen public confidence in the civil service, the state and its institutions.
I would like to dwell particularly on the issue of the ethical principles of civil servants, which are based on:
1) conscientiousness – professional and responsible service to the state for the benefit of society;
2) honesty – sincere attitude to their duties;
3) fairness – making a legal decision regardless of the influence of individuals and legal entities, public groups and organizations and preventing discrimination of persons because of bias and subjectivity in any circumstances
4) openness – showing willingness to work with the public and ensuring transparency of their actions;
5) politeness – correct and respectful attitude to citizens and colleagues;
