Procedure for payment of customs duties and taxes

The Department of State Revenue for the East Kazakhstan region informs the participants of foreign economic activity.

The payment of customs duties and taxes by participants in foreign economic activity (UVED) or third parties is made through second-tier banks, as well as organizations that carry out certain types of banking operations with the indication in payment documents of the details of the state revenue body at the place of registration of the payer, except in cases of non-resident individuals who make payment at the place of release of goods.

When customs and tax payments are paid by third parties on behalf of the payer, the full name of the payer for whom customs duties and taxes are paid, as well as his IIN or BIN of the legal entity, is additionally indicated in the purpose of payment of the payment document.

Payment of customs and tax payments is made according to the corresponding revenue code (CBC) of the unified budget classification of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

In order to create favorable conditions for taxpayers to pay customs and tax payments on time and quickly, together with second-tier banks, a mechanism for making online payments through terminals (cash) and a post terminal (if there is a card account) has been implemented.

The average time between payment of the payment and receipt of information from the Astana-1 is 10-20 minutes.

In order to avoid incorrect payment of customs duties and taxes, we provide BIN-s to the State Revenue Department for the East Kazakhstan region for the transfer of payments.
