Throughout history the phenomenon is constantly being transformed and modified, as political and economic orders become more complex, new forms of its manifestations arise. In the modern world, corruption is a serious and urgent problem for almost all states.
Corruption (from Latin corruptio - corruption, bribery) is a crime consisting in the direct use by an official of the rights granted to him by virtue of his office for the purpose of personal enrichment.
Combating corruption is the societal business. One of the key areas of anti-corruption is the determining the level of anti-corruption culture.
Thus, one of the anti-corruption measures is the building an anti-corruption culture, namely, activities to preserve and strengthen a value system in society that reflects intolerance to corruption. The anti-corruption culture is formed from a set of educational, informational and organizational measures.
The civil position of every citizen of Kazakhstan should be an intolerant attitude to corruption and the norm of behavior - honesty and integrity. The basis of the anti-corruption culture of our society is the awareness and rejection of corruption as a phenomenon alien to the national culture. It is impossible to achieve the desired result without citizens having an anti-corruption culture, strong immunity to corruption, and its public censure. A lot of work to improve the anti-corruption culture of citizens covers the entire population, regardless of age and social status, preschool, school, specialized secondary and higher education, all organizations irrespective of form of ownership.
Since corruption offenses are often the result of insufficient legal literacy of the population, large-scale explanatory work is being carried out in this direction. The events are educational and informational in nature.
Every citizen, showing an active citizenship on a daily basis, contributes to the building an atmosphere of intolerance to corruption in society.
