Carrying out sanitary and quarantine control at at motor vehicle crossing points across the State Border of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 104 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 7, 2020 «On public health  and healthcare system», the resolution of the Chief State Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04/29/2022 No. 21 «On restrictive measures at checkpoints across the State Border of the Republic of Kazakhstan» became invalid, resolution No. 27 dated 07.06.2022 “On removal of restrictive measures at checkpoints across the State Border of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was issued.

According to the Regulation "On the procedure for the carrying out the  state sanitary and  epidemiological surveillance (control) of persons and vehicles crossing the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union, controlled products (goods) transported across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union and on the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union", approved by the EEC Decision No. 299 of May 28, 2010, specialists of the SQC of the customs post «Bakhty» take measures  to prevent infectious, especially dangerous and parasitic diseases across the state border to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan,  conduct a survey (questionnaire) of motor transport drivers and passengers arriving at checkpoints on their health status, take temperature of employees, motor transport drivers and passengers (according to epidemiological indications and in cases of  complaints), and of employees of the c/p «Bakhty». A physical examination is arranged in cases of health complaints, a sanitary inspection of the vehicle (food warehouse, water supply systems, collection and disposal systems of all types of waste) is carried out, as well as searches for the presence of disease carriers and  vectors of (insects, rodents or their traces ).
