Compliance with the requirements of Code of Ethics for Civil Servants in the State Revenue Department for East Kazakhstan Region

The Code of Ethics for Civil Servants of the Republic of Kazakhstan was put into effect on 1 January 2016 (Civil service ethics), approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 29, 2015 No. 153, aimed at stricter requirements for the morals and work capabilities of civil servants.

The requirement of the Code of Ethics provides for the creation of an ethics commissioner in each state body (except law enforcement and special state bodies, as well as the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan). My name is Tatubaev Erik Mukhamedkanapiyanovich, I am Deputy Head of the SRD for East Kazakhstan Region and the Ethics Commissioner in the State Revenue Department for East Kazakhstan region

If there are some questions regarding ethics violations by officials of state revenue bodies in the East Kazakhstan region, every citizen has a right to contact the Ethics Commissioner.

The Ethics Commissioner of the SRD for East Kazakhstan Region receives civil servants and other citizens on the last Friday of each month from 3 PM to 6 PM at the address: Ust-Kamenogorsk, Permitin st., number 27, or contact by phone 8/7232/24-04-12 in working hours.

In order to comply with the requirements of the Code of Ethics in the SRD for East Kazakhstan region, measures aimed at compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan are carried out on an ongoing basis.        

So, 321 measures aimed at preventing corruption and compliance with the Code of Ethics were carried out in the SRD of East Kazakhstan Region for 10 months of 2021. They are:

seminar-meetings – 142;

publications of articles on anti-corruption topics – 179.        

The SRD of East Kazakhstan Region sent 5 review letters on anti-corruption topics to the structural and territorial divisions.               150 civil servants of the State Duma of East Kazakhstan Region took part in a survey and were involved in prevention efforts for 10 months in 2021. 

The SRD for East Kazakhstan Region operates a tepephone hotline for illegal actions of officials of the SRD of East Kazakhstan Region (tax, customs block, export control workers): 70-10-48.

Every citizen can also contact the Anti-Corruption Service helpline in case of illegal actions on the part of state employees of the State Duma of East Kazakhstan Region (tax, customs block, export control workers) by phone: 1424

As part of the measures to prevent corruption of the SRD for East Kazakhstan Region:

- a performance was held at the site of the project «Antikor.Live» via a live broadcast on the social media «Facebook»;

- a  meeting   with the Deputy Head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on East Kazakhstan region was conducted on the topic: «On compliance with anti-corruption legislation in the State revenue bodies of East Kazakhstan region»;

- under the Rukhani Zhangyru program, a meeting  with the writer, publicist and public activist Zhan Akzhanov, was conducted, where vital issues of combating corruption were discussed.
