«Ethics and standards of conduct of civil servants»

The Head of State noted in the Strategy " Kazakhstan-2050 that "the highest ethics and professionalism are the key criteria for creating an effective state apparatus."

Today, issues of ethics and the behaviour of civil servants are given great importance. The integrity of the image of a civil servant is based on the manifestation of high professional and personal competencies, moral qualities and ethical behaviour.

According to the Code of Ethics of Civil Servants of the Republic of Kazakhstan, civil servants must be honest, fair, modest, comply with generally accepted moral and ethical standards, and show courtesy and correctness in their treatment of citizens and colleagues.

Civil servants should remember that the performance of public service is an expression of special trust on the part of society and the state and places high demands on the moral and ethical image of civil servants.

A civil servant must be a fully developed person, constantly maintain a healthy lifestyle and promote family values.

Each of us should remember that we are responsible for our actions and behaviour during non-working hours, and compliance with ethical principles in all circumstances is the basis of high public confidence in public service.

We always strive to meet the highest standards of service, to provide services professionally, guided by the principles of honesty, openness and fairness. We value the reputation of a civil servant, adhere to ethical principles and provide public services in a high-quality and professional manner.
