Changes in excise rates.

        The Department of State Revenue for the North Kazakhstan region informs taxpayers: In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 4, 2007 No. 260 «On establishing minimum retail prices for cigarettes with a filter and cigarettes» from January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021 inclusive, minimum retail prices for 20 (twenty) cigarettes with a filter, without a filter and cigarettes in the amount of 500 (five hundred) tenge are established.

       In accordance with Article 43 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the introduction of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan» On Taxes and the other mandatory payments to the budget» (Tax Code) No. 121- VI RoFA dated 25.12.2017, amendments were adopted to the Tax Code of Republic of Kazakhstan, according to which from January 1, 2021 to January 1,2022, the following changes were established for excise rates for alcoholic products 2550 tenge per liter of 100% alcohol, for excise rates for cigarettes with/without filter 11100 tenger per 1000 pieces.
