On the reflection of income in the declaration

By the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 290-VI of 27.12.2019, Kazakhstan's small business was exempted from paying taxes for the period 2020-2022. This is fixed by the introduction to Law No. 121-VI of 25.12.2017, Article 57-4.

However, entrepreneurs should remember that tax exemption does not mean that it is possible not to keep any records for three years, not to issue documents and not to submit declarations. Everything remains the same: tax returns must be submitted on time and indicate the income received.

But, in practice, there are many entrepreneurs who carry out activities, have turnover, but submit reports with "zero" indicators.

It is important to understand that the exemption of micro and small businesses from these taxes and inspections for three years does not remove the obligation to break through the amounts through the cash register and issue a check.

And the main point is that a phased universal declaration has been introduced since 2021, and starting from 2024, entrepreneurs will begin to declare their income and expenses.

And if you do not indicate your income now, then explain the purchases and purchases later.

We call on all entrepreneurs to conduct transparent business and not to conceal their income and reflect it in tax reports, not to subject themselves to all kinds of sanctions afterwards.
