State Revenue Authorities (State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance and territorial departments) provide public services in tax and customs, including:
- registration of taxpayers, persons in private practice, and VAT payers;
- licensing for production and sale of tobacco, ethyl alcohol, and alcoholic beverages;
- acceptance, withdrawal, and suspension of tax reporting;
- certificates of income from Kazakh sources and confirmation of RK residency;
- information on the presence or absence of tax debt;
- offsets and refunds of taxes, penalties, and fines;
- customs procedures (registers, declarations, intellectual property, etc.).
Most services are available via egov.kz, the Taxpayer’s Cabinet, and e-Salyq apps.
