Changes have been made on the gluing of the accounting and control mark on the tin container of a low-grade alcoholic beverage product with a strength of less than twelve percent.
In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On state regulation of the production and turnover of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages", the turnover of low-grade alcoholic beverages with a strength of less than twelve percent in tin containers is allowed. At the same time, according to paragraph 2 of Article 172 of the Tax Code, alcoholic beverages, with the exception of wine in bulk and brewing products, are subject to labeling with accounting and control stamps.
For tin containers (metal cans), the requirement to stick accounting and control stamps on the lid of the container is impossible, since when opening consumer containers, it is impossible to comply with the requirement to violate the integrity of the accounting and control stamp. Such requirements were established in order to exclude the reuse of the accounting and control mark.
In this connection, a change has been made to the Rules regarding the exclusion of the requirement for pasting an accounting and control mark on the lid of a tin container. On a tin container, the stamp is glued to the side surface and must ensure its identification and reading of barcode information by a reader.
On November 14, 2023, amendments were made to the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 143 dated February 8, 2018
"On approval of the Rules for labeling (re-labeling) of alcoholic beverages, with the exception of wine in bulk (wine material) and brewing products, accounting and control marks, as well as the forms, content and elements of protection of accounting and control marks." The amendments come into force ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication.
