Simplified declaration: when to pay taxes and social payments?

In most cases, entrepreneurs, carrying out activities under a special tax regime on the basis of a simplified declaration, make mistakes regarding the timing of payment of taxes and social payments. Such errors result in penalties being charged. In this regard, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan provided clarifications on the terms of payment. As everyone knows, according to Article 688 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taxpayers applying a special tax regime based on a simplified declaration submit a simplified declaration (form 910) to the tax authorities at the location no later than the 15th day of the second month following the reporting tax period. The tax period is half a year. In this connection, the case where taxpayers pay the calculated social payments once every six months, along with the provision of tax reporting, has become more frequent, which is a violation of the norms of current legislation. In accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Pension Provision in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “On Compulsory Social Insurance”, “On Compulsory Medical Insurance”, social payments are paid no later than the 25th day of the month following the month in which income is paid. This means that social payments must be paid monthly. Accordingly, for late payment of social payments, a penalty is charged for each day of delay and leads to the suspension of debit transactions in bank accounts. In this connection, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan recalls the timely payment of the calculated social payments.
