The Center for Electronic Declaration of the CGD will allow to improve customs procedures Since its inception, that is, for 7 months, the Center for Electronic Declaration of the State Revenue Committee has additionally charged more than 3 billion tenge of customs payments and taxes to the budget. This was reported by the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. More recently, in 2018, Kazakhstan fully introduced electronic customs declaration, which participants in foreign economic activity appreciated. And today, after 3 years, with the use of advanced information technologies in order to improve customs procedures, an electronic declaration center began to function. "Center for Electronic Declaration" is a new subdivision in the state revenue authorities, a new stage in the development of electronic declaration. One of the main tasks of creating a CED was to minimize the interaction of the customs authority and the declarant in the process of performing customs operations. In fact, this is what happens, the declaration is carried out contactlessly, through the Information System "ASTANA-1", which significantly reduced corruption risks. Interaction with territorial bodies of state revenue is carried out through the Telegram channel. At the moment, 13 regions are connected to the registration in the CED. With the addition of the remaining regions, customs control will be divided into documentary, carried out in one center, and actual, that is, inspection and inspection carried out at the location of the goods. Until May 15, it is planned to connect the remaining 4 regions to the CED. Work in the electronic declaration center is literally "in full swing", participants in foreign economic activity (FEA) no longer need to come to the administrative building of the customs, documents are sent electronically, declarations are submitted around the clock, they are examined by inspectors with whom the FEA is not familiar. And as a result, for the period of September 15, 2020. - April 16, 2021 The Center for Electronic Declaration made additional charges of customs payments and taxes over 3 billion tenge. “Naturally, along with the obvious advantages, the development of a new service is not going smoothly. Any undertaking on its way must withstand criticism, praise, and criticism. Through trial and error, the effort and perseverance of the CED team, the work is gradually getting better and many entrepreneurs have already experienced significant savings in time and costs for customs clearance, ”added the CGD
