Monitoring of foreign financing
Monitoring of foreign financing is introduced in Kazakhstan in order to ensure transparency in the use of funds received from abroad. The monitoring will not affect the financial flows of entrepreneurs, their economic activities. We are talking only about targeted foreign financing of non-governmental organizations that are not related to entrepreneurial activity.
The monitoring will cover financial resources allocated from abroad for the provision of legal assistance and the study of public opinion, as well as for sociological surveys, collection, analysis and dissemination of information, produced not for commercial purposes. The monitoring does not cover lawyers, notaries, private bailiffs, diplomatic missions and a number of other persons.
Legal entities and individuals sponsored from abroad are obliged, within the framework of monitoring, within 10 days to notify state revenue authorities of the receipt of money and regularly provide reports. At the same time, all this information will be posted on the website of the State Revenue Committee, which forms an electronic database on individuals and legal entities receiving foreign funding. The database will be regularly updated and made publicly available. Monitoring of foreign funding is a way of monitoring the activities of various organizations and individuals to prevent illegal actions.
