On September 11, 2026, A.S. Omarov, Ethics Commissioner of the State Revenue Department for Almaty, and E.A. Zholshibekov, Head of the Internal Investigations Division of the Human Resources Department, held an extended meeting on corruption prevention and compliance with the standards of official ethics.
The meeting was attended by heads of district State Revenue Offices, structural divisions of the Department, and customs posts.
E.A. Zholshibekov delivered a report on anti-corruption issues. During the meeting, issues related to the prevention of corruption offenses, strengthening of control, prevention of corruption risks, and increasing the responsibility of managers and employees were considered.
Ethics Commissioner A.S. Omarov emphasized the need for all employees to strictly comply with the standards of official ethics and anti-corruption restrictions both during and outside working hours. Particular attention was drawn to the inadmissibility of actions and conduct that may negatively affect the authority of a civil servant and the reputation of the civil service.
Following the meeting, heads of structural divisions were instructed to strengthen preventive work aimed at combating corruption, ensure that the requirements of anti-corruption legislation and standards of official ethics are communicated to all employees, and take the necessary measures to prevent manifestations of corruption.
