Training seminar on the topic "Image analysis of images of inspection and inspection complex"

In accordance with the Plan of seminars for 2022 to improve the qualifications of employees of state revenue bodies, training was conducted on the topic: "Analysis of images of inspection and inspection complex images" for employees of the Department of State Revenue in the Almaty region at the customs posts "Altynkol-Zhol" and "Nur Zholy" in the period from June 13 to 17, 2022".
The lecturers were:
- Kasymkulova Lazzat Turdakynovna – Deputy Head of the UMC;
- Adambayev Meiram - leading specialist of the customs post "Altynkol" of the DGD in the Almaty region;
- Abdreimova Meruert Rabatovna - Head of the Department of Digitalization and Distance Learning of the UMC.
The participants got acquainted with:
- the use of X-ray technologies for non-intrusive scanning of cargo;
- technical description of scanners;
- methods of concealment;
- providing search and detection of prohibited items (explosives, explosive devices, weapons and ammunition, narcotic substances, contraband goods, etc.);
- analysis of recognition of organic and inorganic objects based on the results of X-ray images of the IDC;
- perspective location and in-depth analysis of the X-ray image;
According to the results of the course, 33 employees of the DGD in the Almaty region were trained. The students mastered theoretical and practical skills of working on X-ray television installations, as well as the classification of hand luggage and baggage, inspection of cargo vehicles in order to identify prohibited and restricted items for transportation across the customs border.
At the end of the seminar, all participants were awarded certificates.
Travel expenses were fully funded by the U.S. Department of State's Export Control and Border Security Program (EXBS).
