Anti-corruption education and upbringing

Anti-corruption education and upbringing

Education and educational work on the formation of anti-corruption consciousness among the younger generation are part of the state anti-corruption policy to eliminate (minimize) the causes and conditions that generate and feed corruption in various spheres of life of the Kazakh society.

The need to strengthen and develop civil society, the education of legally literate citizens who have the necessary knowledge about their civil rights and duties, who are able to apply this knowledge in everyday life, who perceive corruption manifestations as a violation of their civil rights and are ready to protect these rights, are becoming an urgent task in Kazakhstan.

Anti–corruption education and upbringing in a broad pedagogical sense is a specially organized, purposeful and controlled impact with the aim of instilling values, forming an anti-corruption consciousness and developing the abilities necessary to develop a civil position in young people against corruption. In a narrow pedagogical sense, it is the process and result of specialized educational and educational work aimed at organizing anti–corruption.

The formation of the anti–corruption consciousness of the individual is a continuous process, the main directions of which are:

1) instilling anti-corruption values;

2) formation of appropriate moral beliefs, qualities and feelings;

3) development of necessary moral needs and habits.

These areas represent the tasks of anti-corruption education.

The essence of anti-corruption education and upbringing is to translate the anti-corruption requirements of society into the internal values and beliefs of each student. Once they become such, they will serve as a faithful compass in his later life. In this sense, anti-corruption education and upbringing can be described as a two-pronged process. On the one hand, students are supposed to form the necessary knowledge and ideas about the corresponding moral ideal, about moral and immoral behavior, moral principles and norms. On the other hand, anti-corruption education consists in creating a deep inner need for a person to act and act in accordance with the perceived and assimilated elements of moral consciousness.
