On the issue of changing the monthly calculation index from April 1, 2022

In April of this year, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, decided to clarify the indicators for 2022 as part of the Forecast of socio-economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026.

Thus, the inflation corridor for 2022 has been increased from 4-6% to 8-10%, i.e. the inflation growth was 4%.

In this regard, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 12, 2022 "On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Republican Budget for 2022-2024", from April 1, 2022, the monthly calculation index was increased from 3,063 tenge to 3,180 tenge and the subsistence minimum from 36,018 tenge up to 37,389 tenge, used for calculating all social benefits.

With this in mind, starting from April 1, 2022, the amount of pension payments and benefits will be increased by an additional 4%.

In total, in 2022, the growth of pension payments compared to the previous year is 11% (2% ahead of inflation), basic pension payments and benefits – 9%.

For penalties, taxes and other payments in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the MCI established from January 1, 2022 in the amount of 3,063 tenge will be applied.
