CONDUCTING AN INTERNAL ANALYSIS OF CORRUPTION RISKS

CONDUCTING AN INTERNAL ANALYSIS OF CORRUPTION RISKS

On April 6, 2022, a meeting of the working group on internal analysis of corruption risks was held in the Department of State Revenue for the Almaty region under the chairmanship of the deputy head of the department, N.A. Baymuldinov.

The system of anti-corruption measures also includes an analysis of corruption risks.

Thus, Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption" stipulates that the analysis of corruption risks (external and internal) is the identification and study of the causes and conditions that contribute to the commission of corruption offenses.

At the meeting, the head of the working group, N.A. Baymuldinov, noted that the Department's Human Resources Department analyzed the work carried out by territorial and structural divisions to conduct an internal analysis of corruption risks and the information provided on the results of this work (analytical reference).

However, as the analysis of the information provided on corruption risks and anti-corruption monitoring has shown, work in this direction needs to be intensified.

When conducting an internal analysis of corruption risks, it is mandatory to follow the Standard Rules for Conducting an Internal Analysis of Corruption Risks, approved by Order No. 12 of the Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption dated October 19, 2016, as well as Methodological Recommendations for conducting an internal analysis of Corruption Risks, approved by the Chairman of the Agency for Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04/07/2021.

Relevant instructions were given and it was noted that the heads of departments of the Department are responsible for the quality of the analysis.
