From February 28, 2022, push messages are sent to Kaspi Bank's clients about the need to submit tax reports on time. This was reported in the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In order to create favorable conditions for the timely fulfillment of tax obligations, within the framework of cooperation with Kaspi Bank, a service has been launched to send push messages to the bank's clients who are taxpayers (individuals, individual entrepreneurs, persons engaged in private practice) about the need to submit tax reports on time. Work in this direction is also being carried out with other second-tier banks.
"In connection with the Tax Code, the state revenue bodies carry out tax control on the fulfillment of tax obligations within the established deadlines. As part of such control, appropriate notifications are sent to the taxpayer (tax agent), including notification of failure to submit tax reports within the prescribed period," the SRC explained.
In case of non-fulfillment of the notification within the established time limits, the state revenue authorities in respect of taxpayers (tax agents) apply legal methods to ensure the fulfillment of the tax obligation not fulfilled on time:
- suspension of expenditure transactions on bank accounts;
- bringing to administrative responsibility under Article 272 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In order to minimize and prevent these cases, push messages will be sent to taxpayers before and after the expiration of the deadlines for the fulfillment of tax obligations for the preparation and submission of tax reports.
The SRC also recalled that the deadline for submitting annual tax reports for 2021 expires on March 31, 2022, and quarterly reports for the 1st quarter of 2022 on May 15, 2022.
"In this connection, in order to avoid peak loads, we recommend submitting tax reports in advance or using standard mechanisms in advance to extend the terms of submission, subject to reporting in electronic form in accordance with Article 212 of the Tax Code," the SRC explained..
In case of questions about filling out and submitting tax reports, the Technical Support Service of KNP users operates/SONO (sonosd@kgd.minfin.gov.kz ).
