The taxpayer's passport does not contain a tax secret

Introduced on March 1, 2022, the "Taxpayer's Passport" does not contain information that is a tax secret, and is designed to protect the rights of consumers. All information can be obtained by reading a QR code.

A taxpayer's passport is an information card of a business entity containing information that is not a tax secret in a barcode (QR code) generated through the portal of the State Revenue Committee.

The taxpayer's passport contains the following information:

▪  ▪ identification number;

▪️ name of individual entrepreneur, legal entity;

the surname, first name, patronymic (if it is indicated in the identity document) of the individual entrepreneur, the head of the legal entity;

▪️ taxpayer status – active, inactive, suspended tax reporting;

▪️ date of registration, date of de-registration;

▪️ registration number of the cash register machine in the tax authority, the place of use of the cash register machine;

availability or absence of a license for the storage and retail sale of alcoholic beverages, with the exception of activities for the storage and retail sale of alcoholic beverages on the territory of its production.

The purpose of introducing a taxpayer's passport is to use it, first of all, to strengthen control by the company itself over the fulfillment of obligations of business entities, as well as to protect consumer rights.

The task of taxpayers (catering and trade) is to print out and place the generated passport in the places where the cash registers are located, which are publicly accessible for informing the population.

At the same time, we inform you that such a passport does not require monthly renewal by the taxpayer, since this QR code is updated automatically when registration data changes.

Currently, due to the ongoing technical work in terms of the integration of SRC information systems for the formation of a barcode, this service is temporarily unavailable for use, respectively, until the completion of these works, the absence of a QR code from the taxpayer will not entail administrative responsibility.
