Norms for the import of goods when importing goods by individuals from the territory of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union for the purposes of entrepreneurial activity

By Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 17, 2022 No. 43 "On Amendments to Order No. 104 dated February 1, 2022", amendments were made regarding the expansion of the list of goods for which the norms for the import of goods are established when importing goods by individuals from the territory of the member States of the Eurasian Economic Union for business purposes. This was reported in the Department of State Revenue in the Almaty region.

 

The following criteria have been approved for assigning goods, including excisable goods, to goods imported by individuals from the territory of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the EAEU) for business purposes:

1) import of goods from the territory of the EAEU member states to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the cost of which exceeds for a calendar year

12-fold minimum wage established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the republican budget and valid for

January 1 of the corresponding financial year, unless otherwise provided by subparagraph 2) of this paragraph;

2) import of goods within 1 (one) year to an individual from the territory of the EAEU member states in the following quantity:

fur products, including hats - more than 1 (one) item of one name per person;

mobile phone – more than 2 (two) units per person;

tablet – more than 2 (two) units per person;

stationary, portable (portable) computer and its accessories - more than 2 (two) units per person;

jewelry – more than 5 (five) items per person;

bicycle - more than 1 (one) unit per person;

baby carriage - more than 2 (two) units per person;

vehicles, including in unassembled form - more than 1 (one) unit.

The criteria do not apply to used and necessary goods en route and (or) destination, and provided:

use en route and (or) destination, including taking into account seasonality, purpose of travel, mode of transport;

the presence of signs of wear, including scratches, dents, other mechanical damage, washing;

absence of tags, labels, labels, primary packaging
