Alcoholic beverages will be marked only with paper accounting and control stamps

The work with labeled tobacco products for retail sellers will be simplified.

On September 16 of this year, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a regular meeting on labeling and traceability of goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan, during which issues were considered, including a pilot project on labeling and traceability of alcoholic beverages.

As a result, it was decided to simplify the business processes of working with labeled tobacco products for retail sellers. In this connection, at present, a draft order has been developed to amend the Rules for Labeling and Traceability of tobacco products.

The draft order can be found on the Internet portal "Open NPAs".

It was decided to complete the current pilot on digital labeling and traceability of alcoholic beverages and maintain the current mechanism of labeling with accounting and control stamps. At the same time, control will be carried out through tax and civil control.
