On June 4, 1992, the new state symbols of independent Kazakhstan were approved for the first time - this day will forever remain in the history of the country as the day of new state symbols.
State symbols are one of the unshakable foundations of the state. The main symbols of the State are the National Flag, the National Emblem and the National Anthem. Our blue flag and coat of arms, in the center of which is a golden shining sun in the form of shanyrak, showed the whole world the image of a new independent state - the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 1992, the state flag was approved, drawn by the artist Shaken Niyazbekov.
Today's coat of arms of sovereign Kazakhstan is the fruit of the painstaking work of two famous architects Zhandarbek Malibekov and Shota Ualikhanov.
In 1992, a contest was announced for the song and text of the national anthem of the Republic. The authors of the first Kazakh national anthem are Mukan Tulebayev, Yevgeny Brusilovsky and Latif Khamidi. In 2006, a new national anthem was adopted.
The new anthem is based on the popular patriotic song "Menin Kazakstanym", the happy fate of which began in the second half of the fifties of the last century. The authors of the new national anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan are Shamshi Kaldayakov, Zhumeken Nazhimedenov, and Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The Day of State symbols is a completely new holiday in Kazakhstan, but it is celebrated by Kazakhstanis with a great patriotic feeling.
