What is individual entrepreneurship?
Individual entrepreneurship is an independent, initiative activity of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, kandas, aimed at obtaining a net income, based on the property of individuals themselves and carried out on behalf of individuals, at their risk and under their property responsibility.
At the same time, citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republics of Tajikistan, Belarus, Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic permanently residing in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan have the right to carry out individual business activities on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Individual entrepreneurship is carried out in the form of personal or joint entrepreneurship.
Personal entrepreneurship is carried out by one individual independently on the basis of the property belonging to him.
Joint entrepreneurship is carried out by a group of individual entrepreneurs on the basis of property owned by them on the right of common ownership
How to register an individual entrepreneur?
To be registered as an individual entrepreneur, an individual sends a notification to the tax authority at the place of location. The service of registering as an individual entrepreneur is free of charge.
You can send a notification about the beginning of your activity as an individual entrepreneur in 2 ways:
- electronic-through the portal of Electronic licensing of the Republic of Kazakhstan e-license;
- in a paper form-through the centers for the provision of services of state revenue bodies or the State Corporation "Government for Citizens".
Notification of the beginning of activity as an individual entrepreneur can also be submitted in the banking applications Kaspi.kz, Halyk Bank.
The tax authorities, within one working day from the date of receipt of the tax application, register an individual as an individual entrepreneur.
In the notification sent for the registration of an individual entrepreneur, you must independently choose one of the tax regimes that the individual entrepreneur will work under.
You can check whether you have become an entrepreneur on the website www.kgd.gov.kz or in the mobile application "e-Salyq Azamat".
How can I change the registration data for an already registered sole proprietor?
An individual entrepreneur is obliged to submit a notification to the tax authority at the location no later than ten working days from the date of changing his registration data or data on participants (members)of a joint venture.
The registration data is changed by the tax authority within one business day following the day of receipt of the notification from the sole proprietor.
