Illegal alcohol bottling plant identified

On March 30, 2021, employees of the Department of State Revenue for the Almaty Region, together with the Department of Economic Investigations for the Almaty region, in the Karasai district on the territory of an industrial base owned by an individual entrepreneur, identified an illegal workshop for bottling alcohol-containing liquid. During the inspection of the premises, 5 containers with a volume of 1000 liters each with an alcohol-containing liquid with a total volume of 5000 liters, as well as materials for filling products, containers with water, various containers, lids and an alcohol meter used in illegal business activities were found and seized. The sole proprietor does not have any permits or a license to store alcoholic beverages.

Currently, the issue of bringing sole proprietors to justice for carrying out illegal business activities is being considered.
