Do stores need to issue accompanying invoices for goods when selling products to individuals

When selling food and household goods to individuals, stores are required to issue a receipt from the cash register. Are store owners required to issue a SNT in this case? What is important for tobacco product sellers to know in order not to buy 2D scanners? These questions were answered by the State Revenue Committee.

Since the beginning of the year, the Committee has launched a Pilot project that provides for the phased introduction of the SNT (Order of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1104 of 16.11.2020).

When selling food and household goods to individuals, a check of the cash register is issued. Important: accompanying invoices for goods are not issued (paragraphs 71-73 of the Rules).

Given that buyers have the right to return the purchased goods within 14 days, the write-off of the sold goods from the Virtual Warehouse is carried out on the 16th calendar day. The deduction is made automatically according to the data of the KCM receipts in the ESF information system.

At the same time, for retail sellers of alcohol and cigarettes (shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, etc.), there is an additional requirement in the form of confirmation of the SNT in the information system "Electronic invoices" when receiving goods from the supplier. In case of further sale, the SNT is issued exclusively on a voluntary basis.

To sell tobacco products, as an alternative to 2D scanners, you can use the free mobile application "Naqty Sauda" (Android and iOS).

To support entrepreneurs and discuss issues, the Telegram chat "Markirovka Qoldau" is actively functioning. Since February 18, 2021, the Unified Operator for Labeling Goods (hereinafter - Kazakhtelecom JSC), together with the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, has launched a special training program on working with IPMT.

For labeling of goods, a free hotline is available around the clock by phone - 8 800 080 6565.
