The discrepancy between Kazakhstan's customs statistics and China has been reduced to 45%

The State Revenue Committee has improved Risk Management Systems and updated ineffective risk indicators. This was stated by the chairman of the State Revenue Committee Marat Sultangaziev during the report on the activities of the SRC for 2020.

Thanks to the above-mentioned measures, the effectiveness of the SUR was 73%, 53.5 thousand violations were detected. The overall efficiency of customs inspections is 51%.

He noted that the "Situation Center", created to monitor customs operations at checkpoints with inspection and inspection equipment (IDC), is successfully functioning.

It is planned to introduce artificial intelligence for the analysis of X-ray images.

In order to maximize the centralization of customs value control and optimize the logistics costs of foreign trade goods, the "Electronic Declaration Center"was created.

"The effect of these innovations amounted to more than 25 billion tenge," the head of the Committee said.

"By strengthening customs administration measures, we managed to reduce the discrepancy in customs statistics with China from 60% in 2017, to 48% in 2019, and to 45% in 2020," he said.
