Department of State Revenues in Almaty region held a press conference

October 19, 2020 at the site "Jetisy`media" held a press conference on the theme: "The fight against the illegal circulation of alcoholic beverages" and "Tax amnesty for individuals," organized by the Department of State Revenue in Almaty region.

Speaker, the Deputy head of the parliamentary friendship group in Almaty region Saudanbekov Turganbekovich Aydin, who spoke about the results of the work on the identification of illegal alcohol and alcohol-containing liquid and a tax amnesty opportunities.

The Department of State Revenues in the Almaty region in order to detect and suppress illegal production and circulation of alcohol, tobacco products and oil products, and regional departments of state revenues on an ongoing basis carry out verification measures to identify and suppress offenses in this area.

In this direction, for joint work, an action plan was approved with the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Internal Affairs of the region.

Particular attention is paid to the illegal trade in the territory of the Almaty region of alcohol-containing liquid in 5-liter plastic bottles, or the so-called "kolhoz".

Over the past 10 months of this year, the state revenue authorities carried out 80 inspections based on the results of which the shadow circulation of alcoholic beverages was revealed throughout the region, where 29,089 liters of products were withdrawn from the illegal circulation, of which 15,172 liters of alcohol-containing liquid. The materials of the checks on these facts were submitted for consideration to the judicial authorities, court orders were issued for all taxpayers to impose fines in the amount of over 1 million 235 thousand tenge and confiscation of alcoholic beverages and alcohol-containing liquids.

In addition to alcoholic beverages, more than 34.0 thousand pieces of tobacco products and 418 tons of oil products were identified and withdrawn from circulation in 10 months.

So, in the course of verification activities in conjunction with the Department of Economic Investigations in the Almaty region on the Almaty-Bishkek highway on October 12, 2020, cargo vehicles were detained, namely fuel trucks carrying alcohol-containing liquid with a total volume of 13 tons without any permits.

 

In the third quarter, during an inspection, together with employees of the Department of Economic Investigations in the Almaty region, a Mercedes-Benz truck was detained on the Almaty-Kapshagai highway, heading to the city of Taldykorgan with 5 liter plastic bottles in the amount of 1000 pieces, which contained an alcohol-containing liquid with a total volume of 5 000 liters.

During the verification activities in the Ili region, it was established that more than 18 tons of oil products were sold without permits.

Similar facts have been established:

  • in the Ili region - over 500 liters. alcohol-containing liquid, 21.9 thousand pcs. cigarettes;
  • Talgar region - more than 1.1 thousand liters. alcoholic beverages and 2.0 thousand pieces. cigarettes;
  • Enbekshikazakh district - more than 1.0 thousand liters. alcoholic beverages and 10.0 thousand pieces. cigarettes;

Illegal trafficking in alcoholic beverages and alcohol-containing liquids causes significant damage to the state and legal entities involved in the circulation of alcoholic beverages.

The Department of State Revenues for the Almaty region reminds that by the end of the year there is an amnesty to write off penalties, provided that the main tax debt is paid.

The tax amnesty is due until December 31, 2020.

You do not need to go anywhere to write off penalties. It is enough to pay the principal amount of the debt. Penalty interest will be debited automatically.

As of 14.10.2020, penalties of 43,203.2 thousand tenge were written off for 22,918 individuals. The amount of the main tax paid is 312 110.2 thousand tenge.
