In 2025, the Department of State Revenue for the Akmola Region received 9,733 appeals from legal entities and individuals; the largest number of appeals concerned issues related to tax and customs administration, rehabilitation, and bankruptcy, including bankruptcies of individuals.
Of the 9,733 appeals received from legal entities and individuals, 8,382 were considered — 5,212 under the administrative procedure and 3,170 under the simplified procedure.
