The State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs about the adoption of Decision No. 34 of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated March 17, 2026, "On amendments to the Procedure for completing the passenger customs declaration and performing customs operations related to the modification (supplementation) of information declared in the passenger customs declaration."
In accordance with this Decision:
From April 19, 2026 (after 30 calendar days from the date of official publication — March 19, 2026), it becomes mandatory for individuals to indicate IMEI codes in the passenger customs declaration when importing the following goods:
The IMEI code must be indicated in the relevant field of the declaration.
Other provisions of the Decision related to the indication of address type codes will enter into force on April 1, 2027.
