The procedure for the import into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union of products subject to mandatory conformity assessment in the customs territory of the EAEU was approved by the decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission No. 130 dated November 12, 2021.At the same time, compliance with technical regulation measures with respect to imported (imported) products is confirmed if the imported (imported) products are included in the lists of products subject to mandatory assessment of compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the EAEU, that is, subject to certification.

Certification is a special set of measures that make up a quality control system and is aimed at establishing compliance of goods, services or products with the approved requirements of existing regulatory documents in the format of GOST or TU standards. The final documents for the successful implementation of product certification are: a declaration or certificate of conformity and a certificate of state registration.

The need to obtain a specific of these types of documents is determined on the basis of the nomenclature (list) of products, which by their characteristics and properties are subject to mandatory declaration or certification. There are two types of certification: voluntary and mandatory. A certain type of voluntary certification in the ISO series system of standards, which is carried out by companies (enterprises) in cases of their entry into international markets. The main task of international certification is to perform an audit (thorough comprehensive study) of all business processes of the enterprise in order to confirm the quality of products, goods or services to generally accepted international quality standards. The objects of international certification can be products (goods, services), their production, technologies and equipment used, as well as personnel. The result of this type of certification is the issuance of an international certificate.

Regulatory legal documents or acts that establish strict mandatory requirements for the use and implementation of any object of technical regulation (products, production processes, structures or structures, transportation, operation, storage, disposal and sale). Technical regulations are mandatory for the approval of the minimum necessary standards in the field of safety of manufactured products. In the EAEU, mandatory and special technical regulations have been developed and are in force, differing in the need to comply with and fulfill approved requirements, as well as taking into account various features of individual types of products.

According to the conformity assessment documents issued by the certification bodies for conformity confirmation, reconciliation is carried out on the official website of the Eurasian Economic Commission
