The Department of State Revenue for the Abai Region informs about the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated February 24, 2026, No. 35 "On Amendments to the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated December 20, 2017, No. 107". By this Decision, Annex 3 to Decision No. 107 was supplemented with a new subparagraph 9-1) as follows:"It is prohibited to transfer the rights of ownership, use, and disposal of motor vehicles with electric motors classified under HS code 8703 80 000 2 of the EAEU, imported into the customs territory of the EAEU from March 28, 2022, until December 31, 2025, inclusive, with exemption from customs duties and taxes, to persons who have Russian Federation citizenship and/or permanent residence in the Russian Federation."
