The OECD’s Eurasia Business Forum offers companies interested in the Eurasia region an unrivalled opportunity to meet high-level decision makers from 13 countries of Eurasia – Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
The Forum is organised by the OECD Eurasia Division on 24 October 2017 in Rixos Almaty hotel, Almaty, Kazakhstan in the context of the annual OECD Eurasia Week. It serves as a platform to discuss common challenges and advance policies to promote competitiveness, private sector development and inclusive growth.
The Forum includes a speed networking session, during which businesses have a unique opportunity to organise a series of short bilateral meetings with policy makers from Eurasia countries, as well as with other businesses active in the region.
In 2016, 76 companies, 9 business associations and 95 delegates from the private sector attended the Forum. Companies from ten OECD countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom and United States) held 136 bilateral meetings with policy makers from Eurasia countries.
Online registration is compulsory to participate in the Forum and speed networking session.
