Due to the fact that from January 1, 2017 benefits under the regime of "Free warehouse" to preserve the attractiveness of the processing sector in Kazakhstan tax incentives are implemented in the form of exemption from VAT on imports of raw materials used in the investment projects realization. This, above all, will reduce the cost of domestic production and thus increase its competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets. This was announced today in Mazhilis on the discussion of the draft law "On application of amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of industrial-innovation policy”, - told the Minister for Investment and Development Asset Issekeshev. "Over the years of SPAIID realization we have attracted investments from major international companies such as: “Toyota”, “General Motors”, "Volkswagen”, “LG Electronics”, "General Electric", "Siemens", "Alstom" and others" – has noted A. Issekeshev. Total for the period 2009-2014 y.y. 29 multinational companies have implemented 46 projects for 2.5 bln. dollars USA.

 For the reference: because of projects realization in the sphere of automotive industry, by 2019 it is planned to acquire production of 200 ths. cars a year, which will set production of automotive components and bring in a number of models of localization level to 50% by 2018, to export the products for 500 mln.US dollars. In addition, these projects will create 20,000 new jobs.
