On April 21, 2025, employees of the Treasury Committee's Office of Loan and Credit Accounting participated in a workshop organized by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the accounting and reporting procedure for related grants.
During the meeting, the parties considered the current challenges and features of accounting in government bodies in the implementation of international grants. Approaches to the unification of reporting methods, the need for transparency in the use of grant funds and the standardization of procedures within programs funded by international organizations were discussed.
There was also discussion of the need for better communication between public authorities and donors to improve the efficiency of fund allocation and adherence to accountability principles. The meeting became part of a broader initiative to strengthen financial discipline and transparency in the implementation of projects aimed at protecting the rights and improving the well-being of children in Kazakhstan.
