Videoconference of the annual plenary meeting of the PEMPAL ТС

On September 29 of this year, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the PEMPAL Treasury Community was held, which was attended by representatives of the state treasuries of Belarus, Turkey, Georgia, Albania, Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.

Thus, at this meeting, the activities of the PEMPAL Treasury Community proposed for October - December 2021 were discussed. The format of the discussion was held in the form of a videoconference on issues such as liquidity management and forecasting, a single treasury account, the use of information technology in treasury operations, as well as discussion of the draft concept of a new knowledge product on the analysis of treasury functions in PEMPAL member countries.

Moreover, the possibility of holding face-to-face events in the calendar year 2022 was also considered, and information was provided by the members of the Executive Committee on the requirements and restrictions regarding border crossing in their countries.
