Employees of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the plenary session of the Treasury community PEMPAL in Tashkent

In the period from October 13 to October 16, 2025, a delegation of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by the Chairman of the Committee, Rakhat Tokbaev, participates in a plenary meeting of the PEMPAL Treasury Community in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Kazakh delegation also included heads of departments of the Treasury Committee Bayan Sydykova and Anuar Zhakypov, who take part in a series of bilateral events aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of treasury business.

The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss current trends in the field of modernization and digitalization of treasury operations, as well as familiarization with the experience and prospects for further development of the Treasury Service Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The parties plan to discuss best practices for digitalizing the treasury, including the introduction of business analytics and artificial intelligence in public finance management processes.

During the event, it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Treasury Service Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be an important step towards interdepartmental cooperation and the development of strategic partnership between the two countries.
