A meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator was held at the UN Office in Bangkok UN Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Thailand

On 25 November 2024, KazAID Board Chairman A. Arystanov met with UN Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Thailand Michaela Friberg-Storey and UNDP Deputy Resident Coordinator in Thailand Irina Goryunova at the UN Office in Bangkok.
During the meeting they discussed the prospects of interaction between Kazakhstan and Thailand in the field of official development assistance (ODA), including opportunities for joint projects and knowledge sharing to promote sustainable development.
Michaela Friberg-Storey previously worked as UN Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan, where she made a significant contribution to the development of sustainable development programmes and strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UN.
