KazAID training materials to Kyrgyzstan: A start for future professionals
Asema Nyshanbaevna, who was born into a large family in the village of Yzar, Kyrgyz Republic, always knew that dreams require hard work. As the seventh of ten children, she grew up in an environment where every member of the family contributed to the common good. From an early age, Asema aspired for more: her cherished goal was to open her own restaurant and create dishes full of warmth and flavour.
In 2024, Asema entered the Kyrgyz Vocational Lyceum №21 named after A. Baltagulova to specialise as a ‘Cook-Confectioner’. However, in order to realize her dream, she needed not only desire and diligence, but also high-quality knowledge. The educational materials transferred to the lyceum within the framework of the KazAID program played a key role in her professional growth.
These manuals include practical information on culinary arts, sanitary standards and catering, which allows students to deepen their knowledge and prepare for real professional activities. Thanks to the support of KazAID, Asema has taken an important step towards achieving her goal.
Today, she is confidently moving towards her dream and believes she will one day invite guests to her own restaurant, becoming an example of how knowledge and support can change lives.
