Lecture for undergraduates of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

22 November 2024, Astana - The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a guest lecture on ‘Kazakhstan as a Donor Country: Evolution of the Official Development Assistance System’.

The lecturer was Arken Arystanov, Chairman of the Board of ‘KazAID’, Doctor of Economics.

The lecture was attended by master students - representatives of various government agencies, including the Financial Monitoring Agency, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anti-Corruption Agency and others.

The topics of the lecture provoked a lively discussion: the role of Kazakhstan as a donor country, soft power strategies and mechanisms for implementing official development assistance (ODA) were discussed. Participants actively shared their views and explored new perspectives on international co-operation.
