What is COP29?

COP29 is a major international climate conference where country leaders, experts and activists come together to discuss how we can tackle climate change.

Every year, the event is organized by the UN. In 2023, COP28 was held in Dubai where over 100,000 participants engaged in important discussions about the future of our planet.

This year Azerbaijan will be the host of COP29! The conference will be held in Baku in November 2024. Here, world leaders will discuss carbon neutrality, financing of environmental projects and support for vulnerable regions. This is a unique opportunity for countries to share experiences and find common solutions to combat the climate crisis.
